Diagnosis
An expert ENT can diagnose with the help of simple physical examination to know the location of infection. A blood test or throat culture test may be required to determine the seriousness and complexities of the infection.

Surgery
Otolaryngologists or ENT specialists may recommend Adenoidectomy to remove the adenoids. Generally when medication doesn’t prove much effective solution then the surgery is recommended. With advancement in technology, curette is used to remove the adenoid. Sometimes electricity is used to heat the tissue and remove it without much blood loss.
